Your favourite movie scenes (may include spoilers)

Presently, I'm thinking about the scene in 'Fargo' where Frances McDormand's pregnant charater is moving down the buffet line with a tray piled with food. It doesn't add to the movie in any way but I'm always fascinated by it for some reason.
Must be my inner greedy-buffet-dining-Singaporean raring to go.
Another favourite scene would be the opening to 'Memento'. It sets the tone for the movie right from the start.
And I've already mentioned on this Board - The opening chase scene in The Matrix. Get up, Trinity, run!

In Reality Bites' opening sequence where they have just graduated from college and Winona was doing her video thingy interviewing them on the rooftop of a skyscraper. This scene is very impromptu and real; reminds me of a time where I have graduated and totally lost what to do, like them.
In Fallen Angels(HK movie by Wong Kar Wai), Michelle Reis was salvaging her bowl of noodles while the whole mafia gang thing was hacking each other up in a blood bath. Her indifference to the whole hoo ha right behind her was captured with a fantastic fish-eyed lens. Cool factor:10 out of 10.
In Chungking Express(Also by Wong Kar Wai), Bridget Lin took off her Marilyn Monroe blonde wig, a very poignant point in the movie which tell everyone that she has given up her double personality kinda life as a professional killer. Scene was captured her escaping from her perpetrators in fast forward focus on her. Her jet long black hair was pictured blowing in the breeze with her right hand holding the blonde wig in her beige trench coat. Something about this scene that tells me ala Sheryl's "A Change Would Do You Good."
In The Matrix, opening scenes of Trinity's escape from the agents. The whole bloody scene was made into motion by the Wachowski Brothers all taken from "Ghost In The Shell"(if you haven't watched it I can lend you the VCD; censored though ). I thought it was only possible in Jap Manga and comic world. I think I held my breath thru those scenes. So amazingly so gracefully done.
In Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion, when the line "I invented POST-ITs." This line never fails to set me laughing, dunno why probably because of that stupid grin on Mira's face. Stupidity and goofiness level: 9 out of 10.
In Romeo and Juliet(yes Baz Luhrman's version), Where Juliet wakes up to find Romeo seconds into his death. When Juliet plunges the dagger into her womb after. Those scenes MTV styled, all beautifully and tastefully shot in a cathedral filled with neon light crucifixes. Melancholy level: 8.5 out of 10
In The Ring(yes jap horror flick which made it to US top 10 horror flicks of the century), the scene where the lady went home to figure out what led to her ex's death and catching in the corner of her eye the reflection of his ex with a paperbag over his head in the dim light of the unpowered television screen pointing to the videotape. Horror haunting level: 9 out of 10.
Taken one out of each genre. I have more... but too lazy to type...

Magnolia When the characters are singing Wise Up, especially when Stanley goes, "so just give up". Heartbreaking. And perhaps the last scene when Claudia smiles and they break into credits. I think there are more scenes but these two are what i can think of right now.
Empire Records The part when the characters are singing Seems and playing with M&Ms (sensing a pattern here, um), simply because the song is fab and i really like the mood here.
The Talented Mr Ripley The scene where Matt Damon was dancing around in Jude Law's clothes and sees Jude behind him in the mirror.
Good Will Hunting When Matt Damon was at this interview and he just had this wonderful, asskicking monologue. That was the best piece of dialogue in the movie and i just loved how intelligent it was. hah

Sixth Sense - When Haley Joel Osment spots the ghost of the dead boy who got shot in the head. It's my favourite scene, but I couldn't sleep for a month because of that. Eeks! Also the part where they're watching the video with the evil stepmother and the sick girl. Dead girl 1, Evil Stepmother 0. Yay!
Talented Mr Ripley - Where Jude and Gwyneth are drinking martinis on the boat. It makes me thirsty.
Beetlejuice - The prawn salad dancing scene. 'Day-O! Daylight come and me wanna go home!' Winona was so good in that movie.
Dead Poets Society - The morning after the boys hear of the suicide, they tramp out onto the snow and Ethan Hawke falls down crying, "It's so beautiful". Also the end where he takes a stand on the desk. Aaaahhh, I cry buckets whenever I watch this movie.
Chungking Express - The chef salad eating scene in the hotel room. Makes me hungry. Whenever I'm in a hotel room alone at night I think of this scene.
Still more to come...
